Bentam on the Financing of Campus Anima.

Bentam advised the main shareholders on the banking and financial law aspects of the financing transaction that enabled the raising of the 108 million euros necessary for the construction of Campus Anima, located in the Cambacérès district of Montpellier.

Campus ANIMA is intended to be a structuring hub for higher education and professional training in the Occitanie region. It will notably host the headquarters of the Hérault Territorial Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the campus of Montpellier Business School, an establishment of the Occitanie Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as the Purple Campus Montpellier apprenticeship training center and its regional headquarters.

This financing, carried out through four real estate civil companies capitalized and funded by the shareholders initiating the project, is partially secured by several loans granted by a banking pool of seven institutions to each borrower. Bentam, as the legal advisor to the borrowers and the main shareholders, notably assisted them in the review and negotiation of the financing documentation.
